Three silver carriage timepieces various maker's and dates Each upright rectangular form and with hinged carrying handle on top, circular Roman dial, hinged door to back, one, Mappin Brothers, London 1898, silver-gilt, embossed case, with cherubs, a hound and squirrel among scrolls over a stippled ground, French brass movement with integral winding key, height 8cm; another smaller, Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1903, embossed with lattice among scrolls, winding mechanism on top with a pocket watch movement; another, Batson & Son, London 1905, engraved front and side panels with embossed foliate scroll border, French brass movement with integral winding key.
