A PAIR OF LACQUERED WALNUTS, A PAIR OF IRON HAND EXCERCISERS AND A PAIR OF CRYSTAL HAND EXCERISERS, BAODING Qing Dynasty The walnuts naturally formed with a two-segment shell, the skin wrinkled with veiny ribs running over the surface, attractively patinated to a deep brown colour, the iron balls well patinated with internal chimes, the crystal balls of pale white-grey translucent form. 4cm (1 5/8in) diam.
