A 10-Bore Percussion Wildfowling Gun By W. Thompson & Co., Mid-19th Century With twist sighted barrel, octagonal breech becoming polygonal, foliate engraved breech with white-metal line, foliate scroll engraved tang, signed border engraved flat lock and hammer, figured half-stock with chequered grip (butt with some old repaired worm damage), foliate scroll engraved mounts (butt plate worn) including scroll trigger-guard with pineapple-shaped finial, vacant white-metal escutcheons and barrel-bolt escutcheons, and original brass-mounted ramrod (steel parts with old pitting, ramrod-pipes replaced), Birmingham proof marks 118.5 cm. barrel For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
